Tatiana Apelu is a double alumna who earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees at CSUSM. Since completing her degree in the Master of Arts in Sociology Practice program, she's gone on to work at a non-profit that's allowed her to continue working with other former foster youth.

Affinity groups are a collection of alumni who share a common affinity for the university and are committed to promoting the missions of California State University San Marcos and the CSUSM Alumni Association. Affinity Groups participate in regular communications, networking events, group volunteerism and professional development activities.
