Imagine the possibility of studying in beautiful Southern California and only paying a fraction of our out-of-state tuition! California State University San Marcos is excited to be part of the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE, pronounced "woo-wee") program. CSUSM offers students the opportunity to further their education and broaden their horizons beyond the boundaries of their home state. The WUE scholarship offers non-resident students from WICHE states the opportunity to qualify for a reduced tuition scholarship which saves you approximately $8,424 in tuition fees a year! Students who qualify may enroll at 150 percent of resident tuition. California residents are not eligible to apply for the WUE scholarship.
First-time freshmen who are applying to a WUE-approved major, and are residents of one of the following states will be considered for the reduced tuition scholarship: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands.
