The Career Center - Offers students, veterans and active duty students, and alumni opportunities a variety of services to help them throughout their educational journey And act as an education agency to help in determining career goals to launch their careers. Centers for Learning and Academic Support Services (CLASS) - An integral part of learning at CSU San Marcos and include the following student support programs that enhance the retention, graduation, and success of all students. Early Assessment Program; EPT/ELM Requirements; Math Lab, Writing Center; Academic English: Tough but Important!Language Learning Center; and Language Other than English Requirement (LOTER).  For a quick overview of what CLASS offers -

Academic Success Center - to help students realize their full potential through both one-on-one academic coaching with trained staff and peer coaches.

Office for Training, Research and Education in the Sciences (OTRES) - For students interested in biomedical sciences, research training, and research participation.

STEM Center - For students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) - Provides a multitude of services such as:

  • A multi-purpose computer lab and limited free printing
  • Cultural enrichment activities
  • Education and personal counseling
  • First-year learning community
  • Graduate school motiviation & preparation
  • Mid-semester evaluations/early interventions
  • One-unit class
  • Peer and faculty mentoring
