Application

Admission to the Master of Arts Degree in Spanish requires the following:

  • A completed application for admission to Graduate Studies for the University. Please follow the instructions on the Graduate Studies Admissions web page and fill out and submit the university admissions form (may be downloaded from this page). If you wish to apply online, you may do so through: Apply Online
  • A completed departmental application (may be downloaded from this page) for admission into the Master of Arts in Spanish (please follow the instructions on the form which also has a comprehensive check list of all required materials) to be sent by mail or delivered in person to the department, care of:
    Renee Tourville Werthmann, Academic Coordinator
    Department of Modern Language Studies
    California State University San Marcos, CA 92096-0001.
  • CSUSM students and alumni only have to request transcripts from non-CSUSM schools attended. The department has access to CSUSM transcripts.
