The Global Supply Chain Management Option within the Operations and Supply Chain Management Department teaches students how to perform typical tasks of a supply chain manager, such as designing and managing the relationships that keep products moving on the global playing field.

Students will learn about consumer insight and how to create products, including:

  • Planning how they are made
  • Getting them to market
  • What materials are used
  • Where they are purchased
  • How many products should be produced
  • Where they are warehoused
  • How they are marketed and shipped to best satisfy consumer demand

Global Supply Chain Management also gives you the opportunity to learn how to manage the worldwide supply network of a contemporary global company, including its supplier management, manufacturing or service delivering, distribution and marketing, procurement, including customer relationship management.
