May 2024 Commencement Schedule
The Spring Commencement Ceremonies will be held on May 17th and Saturday, May 18th. The commencement website will have the most current dates and times for the ceremonies. Please visit the May Commencement Ceremony Page for more information.
*Please note: ceremony dates and times are subject to change due to weather, venue limitations, etc. Registered graduates and guests will receive a text and/or email regarding any last minute changes/updates to the ceremony schedule.
Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 Graduates
The commencement registration link has been sent out, and will be sent to all eligible Spring 2024, Summer 2024, and Fall 2023 (that did not participate in the December 2023 commencement ceremonies) graduates via their @CSUSM email address by April 12th. CHABSS graduates, please only refer to the "Register for Commencement" email that was sent to you on April 16th. There was some backend issues that only affected CHABSS graduates. This has since been resolved.
It will be the graduate's responsibility to notify the commencement office (commencement@csusm.edu) prior to April 21, 11:59 pm if they have not yet received their commencement registration link. Unable to communicate with the commencement office or register by the the April 21st deadline, may affect the graduate's ability to participate in the May 2024 commencement ceremony. Marching Order Access - Detailed Instructions
Applying to graduate and registering for commencement are two different processes. Graduates will receive communications on commencement based on the graduation term they have noted on their graduation application. All graduates must apply to graduate via their MyCSUSM account in order to receive communications from the commencement office.

Fall 2024 Graduates
Graduates who applied for Fall 2024 graduation will be invited to the December 2024 Commencement Ceremonies. More details regarding the December 2024 commencement ceremonies, including ceremony times and registration will be released in August 2024.
December Commencement will take place in the Sports Center.
