Workshops – FMP offers a series of workshop to help in the career and professional development of the students it serves. Workshops include, Career Planning, Graduate School Researching, and Financial Researching.

Graduate School Field Trips – In order to expose students to the career opportunities they have, FMP co-coordinates field trips to at least two different schools in an academic year. It is our intent to choose schools with a variety of disciplines in all fairness to the students.

Scholarships – One way to expand post-graduate opportunities to FMP students is to alleviate, where and when possible financial difficulties.

To this end, the FMP Post-Grad Test Registration Scholarship will pay for four test fees per Academic Year -LSAT, GRE, GMAT, CBEST, RICA, etc., etc. The FMP scholarship is open to all FMP students and its purpose is only for post-graduate testing registration fees.

The FMP Post-Grad Test Registration Scholarship will be continued as long as funding is available. Students are notified via e-mail when scholarship applications are available for the corresponding semester.

Social Events – There are three major social events the FMP offers in an academic year, 1) Holiday Dialogue Gathering, 2) Year-End Graduate Awards and 3) Social-Cultural Events.

The Holiday Dialogue Gathering is sponsored in December. All FMP participating students and faculty members are invited. Food and games are provided. The Year-End Graduate Awards is an end of the year award ceremony in honor of graduating students. Graduating students and their mentors are invited to share the success of the GRADUATING student!

Social-Cultural Events - FMP supports cultural events to the California Center for the Arts, Escondido to enhance the relationship between mentors and protégés as well as provide cultural awareness and diversity according to University Mission Statement.
