COVID-19 Response Needs

Students

The situation around the COVID-19 outbreak is evolving every day, and CSUSM is taking additional proactive measures to protect our CSUSM community, on and off campus.  We have heard from donors with concerns that students may be struggling to cover unexpected costs related to travel or housing, access to technology, health and wellness and other unbudgeted expenses.  CSUSM has two key funds already in place that can help support students who are facing difficult situations.  Please note the funds below and consider offering your support during this challenging time.

The Student Emergency Fund is available to currently enrolled CSUSM students who encounter an unexpected financial emergency or catastrophic event in which their basic needs and/or ability to function as a student are impacted, such as natural disaster, severe illness, or housing insecurity.  The fund is managed by Associated Students, Inc.

Student Health and Counseling Services provides support of the health and wellness of our students in support of their academic success.  Services provided include acute care, care for limited ongoing issues, psychiatry, psychological counseling, health education, and pharmacy.

Give Today by choosing any of the above funds from the drop down menu.
