International Experience for Faculty and Departments

Global Education at Cal State San Marcos isn't just for students. We also have a number of opportunities that are available for current CSUSM faculty members. Whether you have international experience or not, the CSU San Marcos Office of Global Education would like to support your interest in learning and applying your knowledge abroad. 

Professional Development

Among the professional development opportunities offered to CSUSM faculty are grants sponsored by the University Global Affairs Committee, positions as Resident Director at international study sites, the Fulbright Program, opportunities for faculty exchanges, and more.

Student Development

The Office of Global Education can also help you broaden your students' horizons. If you are interested in inviting visiting scholars, faculty members, researchers, or performers from overseas, you can get information on the first steps you'll need to take. We can also come to your class to inform your students about the many Study Abroad opportunities CSUSM has to offer; simply fill out our form to sign up for an in-class presentation.

Interested in developing your own developing your own study abroad program for CSU San Marcos student? The Office of University Global Education, in collaboration with Extended Learning, can help with this kind of daunting—and deeply rewarding—project.
