Camp and Raft Sequoia National Forest

Join us for a thrilling three-day camping adventure in Sequoia National Forest, where we will immerse ourselves in the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. Pack your hiking boots and explore the majestic trails, breathing in the crisp mountain air as we encounter ancient sequoia trees and breathtaking mountain views. Brace yourself for an adrenaline-pumping rafting experience on the mighty Kern River, where we'll navigate exhilarating rapids and enjoy the thrill of the rushing waters. Rest assured, as all your needs will be taken care of with inclusive provisions of food, transportation, and camping gear. Upon registering for this overnight trip, you can anticipate an informative email approximately one week prior to the departure date. This email will provide essential details such as pre-travel meeting location, trip meet-up times, the comprehensive trip itinerary, recommended items to bring, and more.

All participants MUST possess a strong swimming ability and feel confident treading water.

Cancellation Policy
All sales are FINAL. Due to the nature in which we plan our programs, Outdoor Adventures does not provide refunds. Please be sure to check your schedules and ask your questions BEFORE registering for any excursion.

Our goal is to provide students with affordable opportunities to experience the outdoors in a variety of ways. We subsidize trip costs by 30%-55%. See above for cost-savings; some of these categories are estimated if we do not have actual cost (ex: gas cost).
Note that activities are subject to change based on weather, vendor cancellations, or other unforeseen circumstances.
All University programs require student participants to follow standards of the CSUSM Student Code of Conduct in order to ensure a safe, respectful learning environment. As the Policy states, “The University is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy living and learning environment for students, faculty, and staff. Each member of the campus community should choose behaviors that contribute toward this end. Students are expected to be good citizens and to engage in responsible behaviors that reflect well upon their university, to be civil to one another and to others in the campus community, and contribute positively to student and university life.”
Failure to abide by these standards could result in becoming ineligible to participate in Outdoor Adventure programs indefinitely and a referral to the Dean of Students Office."
