  • How do I log in to AbilityLMS?
    1. Go to https://www.csusm.edu/etc/
    2. Click on the AbilityLMS Login button on the homepage, or navigate to the Learning Mangement Systems page and click on the AbilityLMS Login button.
    3. You'll be directed to the Learnerweb Login single sign on page. Enter in your CSUSM username and password.
  • How do I log in to CSU Learn?
    1. Go to https://www.csusm.edu/etc/
    2. Click on the CSU Learn Login button on the homepage, or navigate to the Learning Mangement Systems page and click on the CSU Learn Login button.
    3. You'll be directed to the CSU Login page through the Chancellor's Office. Choose the San Marcos option from the Select Login Choice dropdown menu.
    4. Enter in you CSUSM username and password through the CSUSM single sign on page.
  • Which LMS do I need to access training?

    For compliance training ("Gender Equity/Title IX," "Avoiding Conflicts of Interest," "Discrimination Harrassment Prevention Program," etc.) and professional development courses/books, please access the CSU Learn LMS platform.

    For occupational health and safety training ("Defensive Driving," "Injury, Illness & Prevention Program," "CPR/AED," etc.), please access the AbilityLMS platform.

  • How do I disable pop-up blockers?

    Google Chrome:

    1.  Select Settings from the Chrome menu
    2. Select the Show advanced settings... link at the bottom of that page
    3. Select Content settings... from the Privacy section
    4. Select the Allow all sites... radio button from the Pop-ups section

     

    Internet Explorer:

    1. Select Tools from the main menu
    2. Select Pop-up Blocker from the Tools menu
    3. Select Turn Off Pop-up Blocker

     

    Safari:

    1. In the top left, select Safari then select Preferences from the drop-down menu
    2. The Preferences pane will open. Select Security on the top row
    3. Uncheck the Block pop-up windows box
  • The system is not recognizing me as a user and I have verified that I am correctly entering my username and password, who do I contact?

    It is common for newly hired employees (or former students/employees who have been rehired by CSUSM) to take up to two weeks to gain access to the learning management systems. You may contact etc@csusm.edu for assistance if you need to complete specific safety training in order for you to execute your daily job tasks. 

    If you are not a new employee and you cannot access the system(s), please contact etc@csusm.edu for further assistance.

  • I am a current CSUSM student, but I cannot acccess CSU Learn. How can I access training in CSU Learn?

    At this time, only CSUSM faculty and staff (including student assistants) have access to CSU Learn. In July 2024, CSUSM, with the help of the Chanellor's Office, will begin the student implementation process into CSU Learn.

    In the meantime, AbilityLMS is the current platform that all faculty, staff, and students can access. Please send an email to etc@csusm.edu and we can investigate if the training you are looking for has the alternative option housed in AbilityLMS that you can access.

  • I do not need to take these training course(s) who do I contact to remove this?

    Please send an email to etc@csusm.edu. We will connect you with the appropriate training area contact to verify if you need to complete the courses and of any potential alternatives/options.

  • I need to take a certain course, but it is not listed. Who do I contact?
    There are certain training that may be configured to have users enrolled by a system administrator. Please email etc@csusm.edu and we will help you determine where to find the course you are seeking or enroll you into the course.
