Business Status Application

Continuing Students Completing Pre-Business Courses Spring 2024

The deadline to submit final grades to CoBA from a community college is June 5, 2024. When final grades are available, please submit your unofficial transcript using the following link:

  • Failure to meet this deadline will result in your status being moved back to Pre-Business and subsequently dropped from any upper-division business courses you may have enrolled in for Fall 2024 and/or Summer 2024.  No exceptions will be made for late submissions.

Incoming Students and Continuing Students Completing Pre-Business Courses in Summer 2024

Select the Business Status Application that corresponds to your business option and carefully fill it out:

    • Please allow 5-7 business days (not including weekends or holidays) for your application to be processed.
    • The application is available now and the deadline to apply is July 12, 2024.  Applications received after this date will be placed on hold and processed as space becomes available.
    • If you are taking classes at a Community College, please attach evidence of enrollment (unofficial transcript) using the link in the application.  We cannot process your application unless we have this evidence.

    • Incoming Fall 2024 Freshmen do not need to submit a Business Status Application.

Once we receive the completed application, and all requirements are met with at least a 2.65 GPA and a C or higher in each pre-business course, you will be granted conditional business status. This will allow you to enroll into upper division business courses. 

    • The deadline to submit final grades from a community college to CoBA is August 16, 2024. Use the button below to submit your final grades.  Please do this in addition to submitting your official transcript to Office of Registrar.

    • Failure to meet this deadline and/or meeting all requirements for Business Status will result in your status being moved back to Pre-Business and subsequently dropped from any upper-division business courses you may have enrolled in for Fall 2024.
