Associate Degree for Transfer

The Student Transfer Achievement Reform Act (SB 1440) establishes a Transfer Associate of Arts (AA-T) or Associate of Science (AS-T) degree for California Community College students and is designed to provide a clear pathway to the CSU degree major. It allows students to complete an Associate’s degree while satisfying lower division general education and major requirements for transfer at the same time.

It is important that students contact their local community college for information on meeting the requirements for a Transfer Associate of Arts (AA-T) or Associate of Science (AS-T) degree. For more information getting an Associate Degree for Transfer please visit adegreewithaguarantee.com

Note regarding the new version of the Business Administration Transfer Model Curriculum (TMC):

  • If you earn an ADT that is based on the first version (1.0) of the Business Administration TMC, it will only be considered similar to the Global Supply Chain Management option.
  • If you earn a Business Administration ADT that is based on the new version of the TMC (2.0), it will be considered similar to all options of the Business Administration program beginning Fall 2022.

If you have questions about which version of the Business Administration ADT is offered at your school, please visit their transfer center for more information.
