Honor Societies & Associations

The Phi Theta chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Honor Society of Nursing was chartered in April 2011. The Phi Theta chapter has since been encouraging and furthering leadership, research, and partnership in chapter members and the health care community. Furthermore, our chapter has, and continues to, carry out international relationships. Members have partnered with communities in Swaziland, Belize, Indonesia, and Vietnam with a focus on global community wellness and nursing.

The California State University San Marcos Student Nurses Association (CSUSM SNA) is a Chapter of both the California Nursing Student Association (CNSA) and the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA). The purpose of this organization is to be a part of a nationwide association of student nurses, which promotes the leadership skills and professional development of student nurses.
