Inclusive sustainability works to draw genuine connections between environmental sustainability
and social justice. This new concept challenges traditional environmental practices
that ignore or overlook important social justice issues.
Inclusive sustainability directly engages students and increases student success.
On the campus level, this work connects students from all different backgrounds. We
know that underserved/priority communities are most affected, with many of our students
being food insecure or facing homelessness. We understand that the ladder of opportunity looks different for every student and
work to promote a more inclusive campus culture.
