An international Master's applicant is a student who wishes to study at our university on an F-1 (student) visa, who has received a post-secondary degree from a regionally accredited college or university within the United States or outside the Unites States that meets our accreditation standards.
It's important to note that the individual academic departments make decisions on all graduate admissions and each department has its own admissions criteria. Before you apply, make sure that you know the entrance requirements for your desired program and that you can provide the necessary information to ensure full consideration of your application.
If you do not meet the English language proficiency for graduate admission you may apply for conditional admission for select graduate programs through our American Language & Culture Institute. To be eligible for ALCI conditional admission, you must meet the undergraduate English language proficiency requirement. Please contact the International Admission Office for more details at email@example.com.
*Appeal process for special consideration due to extenuating circumstances/demonstrable hardship may be considered, submit appeal to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Remember, some graduate programs require two applications, one to the university and one to the academic department, and a two-part application process. You must visit the respective graduate program website and follow the instructions carefully for any program-specific admission requirements.
Application deadlines vary. The Fall 2018 application period will open on October 1, 2017
