Drop-in Advising

The Office of Academic Advising will be offering Virtual Drop-in Advising to our matriculated undergraduate students for 1:1 academic advising on general degree requirement information, schedule verification or issues, registration questions, etc. No appointment is necessary. Instructions on how to access Virtual Drop-ins are located to the right.

New Students

Transfer student Drop-ins begin May 14. 

First-year Drop-ins begin June 11.

New Students: Please complete the Enrollment Tutorial before attending our Drop-in Advising.

Business Majors: Business Status applications are being processed. If you submitted an application, it will take up to 5 business days to be processed. Thank you for your patience!

About Drop-ins:

  • Students are seen 1:1 on a first-come, first-served basis, by major.
  • Due to high volume, it may be necessary to close Drop-in Advising early.
  • Drop-in hours are subject to change.
  • Sessions generally last up to 15 minutes (students interested in a longer meeting with an academic advisor should schedule an appointment).
  • Engineering majors: Please contact for academic advising.

 Signing in:

  1. Access Microsoft Teams (instructions).
  2. In the Virtual Front Desk, click on the Sign-in Sheet tab at the top of the page to check-in (sign-in sheet)
    (The Sign-in Sheet will be live one hour before each drop-in start time).
  3. Fill out and submit the form to be placed in the queue.
  4. Remain logged in to Microsoft Teams. Academic Advising will connect with you through Microsoft Teams when you are next in line.
